Floating Mosque Pangkor Island known as Masjid Al-Badr 1000 Selawat or Masjid terapung Pulau Pangkor is one of the tourist attraction in Pangkor Island. The mosque is open for visitors Muslim and Non Muslims, requiring a decent attire if you plan to visit inside the mosque. The mosque was built on 7 March 2014, featuring the Islamic architecture, 1,000 selawat calligraphy and Perak state art decorations, inspired from flowers such as Bunga Kertas (Bougainvillea) and Bunga Kelumpang (Rusty Sterculia). The mosque can accommodate 1,500 visitors. A great place to admire the sea, nature and Islamic architecture. Recommended place to visit while you are in Pangkor Island.
