Book Review: Think Like a Monk - Train your mind for peace and purpose every day
A great book written by Jay Shetty, reminding us of our purpose in life and train our mind to think in peace. I really enjoyed the book as well, and I found myself, my childhood memories, parents and some of my teachers in this book. The book has 316 pages, divided in three parts: Let go, Grow and Give. It took me 7 days to read it, i am not a long hours reader, I just read like 30-60 mins everyday. Some of the main principles that make me to reflect, was the breathing exercising, and to understand that the breathing is the main important factors that affects and control our emotions. The morning walk while having a focus look at stones, flowers, or birds. It reminds me of my walks in the Romanian forest, where we admired the leaves, memorize each leaf to know to which tree it belongs, or admiring the tree barks, trunks or flowers. It makes me to remember a game that our class teacher did for us where everyone took a blank paper, and write on it, where they see themselves when they
