Feeling down?

We are humans, there are always up and downs in our lives..
Sometimes we fail...
Sometimes we get frustrated...
Sometimes we are not in control of the situation.
However, we are in control of our inner feelings...stay away from hurting any one with our instant anger feelings, or update our social media to express our frustration...
Nobody cares of it...
Sometimes we dont care about our thoughts...we believe we are cool if we express our frustration feelings on social media. However, we might feel sorry the next day of what we posted.
"Speak good or remain silent " Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
(1) Seeking refuge
The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "If a man gets angry and says, ‘I seek refuge with Allaah,’ his anger will go away." (Saheeh al-Jaami’ al-Sagheer, no. 695)
(2) Keeping silent:
The Messenger of Allaah (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "If any of you becomes angry, let him keep silent." (Imaam Ahmad, al-Musnad, 1/329; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 693, 4027).
(3) Not moving:
The Messenger of Allaah (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "If any of you becomes angry and he is standing, let him sit down, so his anger will go away; if it does not go away, let him lie down."
Have a quiet day at home. Drink coffee, have a shower or cry to feel better.
Reflect on the cause that make your feelings down...
•is it because of our disconnection with God?
•is it because of our unhealthy lifestyle?
•is it because that we forget to allocate some time for our recreational activities?
•Or because that our environment gets messy?
If we know the cause, we will find the solution to overcome it...be your own psychologist....
The important to strengthen our resilience and avoid griefing.
Be patient, positive and put our trust in God.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Many people, when they see evil or when the Muslim ummah goes through a lot of trouble, panic, lose hope and start complaining as people who are beset by calamities do. But this is forbidden; rather what is enjoined is to be patient, to put one’s trust in Allah, to be steadfast in adhering to the religion of Islam and to believe that Allah is with those who fear Him and those who do good, and that the best end is for those who fear Him; whatever befalls him is because of his sins, so he should be patient, for the promise of Allah is true; he should seek forgiveness for his sins and glorify and praise his Lord morning and evening.
(Majmoo‘ al-Fataawa, 18/295)
