River Cruise at Taman Tamadun Islam, Terengganu is a 1 hour journey with an open boat on the Terengganu river. I boarded the boat at 5:30 pm, they called for us to wear the safety vest, from start a fun trip, our guide on the boat, was so energetic and continue to brief us the information about the history of the island, plants, places, the heritage and many more along the cruise. She offered in Bahasa Melayu, which i already able to understand. She was funny, making quizzes not for us to feel bored or afraid of the water. From time to time the wind will splash drops of water on us.
The trip seemed very short but very rich in information. In general, the river cruising is, I would say, safe. The major cause for me to be scared about cruising is the possibility of the boat flipping over, i must admit i am terrible at swimming and afraid of rivers and seas. However this river cruising was a good exercise to face my fear.
The scenario on the boat was incredible, making me busy to capture each moment on the boat, passing through other boats, the Terengganu Draw Bridge, Masjid Crystal.
I really love to see the colored boat on the river or sea, but i don't
know each color here in Malaysia have a meaning, for example if you see a
green colored cabin boat means it is registered in the state of Terengganu, and each state have its own
color.
I highly recommend you to try the river cruise, after the cruise i felt like more energetic and happy as i gained more experience and knowledge.
